I moved from a small town near Boston, Massachusetts to Atlanta, Gerogia when I was and I had mixed feelings about it.brOf course I was sad to leave all my friends, my home town, and the only place I had really felt comfortable in but it was also very exciting to go somewhere new, you know, like start over with a clean slate and meet new people.brIm a very social person and I love meeting new people so I was kind of happy when I found out we were moving into a big city.brI kept in touch with my old friends mostly and made plenty of new ones in Atlanta. I still cry sometimes when I think of my old home but I plan to go back to it sometime soon. From a baby snake to a baby elephant, both are equally lovable. brFor no, although baby animals are extremely cute with their big round eyes, adult animals can be the most AMAZING and FANTASTIC creatures of all, better then the smaller generations. I always like to think of it as if everyone only likes baby animals like kittens, what would happen to their parents? Would they even survive? My naiveté radiated from my answer. Id written a long, through description of my plans to double major in International Relations and Humanities at Stanford, and upon graduation work my way up the ladder at the White House and become the Director of Speechwriting like Jon Favreau by the time I was . I explained how I intended to go to law school in my late twenties and pursue a career in international diplomacy afterward. My goal was to eventually become the Ambassador to France and then run the UN. On the side Id intended to paint for an art gallery Id own, and when I retired Id teach at Georgetown. I wanted to name my daughter December Kate. I wrote that all with such earnest seriousness, and I cant help but laugh at myself when I read it now. I was sixteen then and standing on this solid platform of hope in front of trains of possibility that I had unquestioning confidence I could board and ride to my destinations. My life jumped track a few months later when I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, and it corroded some of youthful idealism. I had to work hard to get young and confident again. I also like to make my own book marks when I have scrap card stock lying around from another project. Its fun to decorate them in different ways. There is an evolution in this world, not only on a genetic level or cultural level, but of what I refer to as the psychobiotic self. Psycho referring to the psychology and symbolism which man uses to better cope with the overwhelming reality of his immergence and place and position in this world, and how it relates to his body, or biotic self and its eventual demise.brbrMan is constructed of two things. The first, and most simple is that of his body. A body which changes both because of the very biology and animalistic, inherent, traits that are programmed within its genome but also changes because of necessity to delay the death process IE, surgery, medicine, treatments, anything that extends the biology of the organism and idea of health This is to further establish the second element of his being, the symbolic representation of man. To most of mankind, the biology and illusion of health is only a tool to which the man can master and control so that he has an extended period to develop the symbolic self. But each does so in a very individual way, which may or may not transform the world around him in yet another symbolic representation. One that mankind has yet to agree upon as a worthwhile cause, in relation to the evolution of their psychobiotic self.brbrPeace, is really just a collective delaying of the end of the psychobiotic self. It is a theoretical state, in which all individuals accept and agree not to interfere with the evolution of all other individual attempts at mastery of the body, and the symbolic self. It is a group agreement to Not inflict my own attempts at mastering my body and expanding my symbolic self, if you in turn do not thwart any of my efforts to achieve some sense of symbolic immortality before this biotic self of mine is returned to the earth. I will not interfere with your evolution, if you will not interfere with mine.brbrI use the term evolution, as a synonym for change or metamorphosis. Any alteration or progression OR deterioration of both the body, and the symbol which man creates for himself. This is inclusive of faith, or the belief that your symbolic self will somehow transcend this observation or perception of reality. It will change, or evolve individually through understanding of the world around you, which again is unavoidable. Again, because of the biotic self and the finite nature of biology and how long our animal forms inhabit this existence. Our subtle realization of death, as proven by the likes of Otto Rank, Ernest Becker, and Norman O Brown among others, motivates us in ways which many are not entirely observant of, yet are there even without us consciously or truthfully admitting to or acknowledging clearly.brbrSo the question to me is not the role of individual transformation in manifesting world peace but can mankind agree upon what the symbol of peace represents and if so, how might this further or progress all mankinds evolution of the psychobiotic self.brbrWill agreeing not to interfere with the development of individual attempts at making sense of cultural or personal symbolism, help man evolve or only divert it to another path of symbolic and biological consciousness? In other words, if everyone agrees to help delay the demise of our physical self or biotic self, how will this in itself change how man interprets his own existence and leaves symbols of his immortality?brbrIf we are to remove the constant threat of physical destruction, will we have greater or less understanding of the symbols and psychology behind why we were so animate about destroying others symbols and biological form in the first place?brbrI suppose first we have to recognize and relate to what our own symbolic self is trying to represent currently. Which is where conflict is often initiated, both individually and world wide on the cultural, artistic, and religious stage. For example, if one were to say that Deepak Chopra symbolizes the marriage between financial success and theological success, some would wonder why I say this. Some would agree with me immediately, based on their own symbolic understanding of things. When one sees a man confidently smiling, wearing a pink which some equate to homosexuality, others to confidence i.e. the confidence of wearing a traditionally feminine color despite cultural taboo or beliefs Ralph Lauren Polo shirt, with a golf club over one shoulder they might think to themselves Here is a man who has succeeded. He has money, which is represented by the logo on his shirt, known to be expensive. He has confidence, as one can interpret from body posture. But also, he has mastered his physical self. He is playing golf, a game known to be difficult because of the concentration of both mental and physical abilities. One might think, or perhaps only myself Here is a man aware of his psychobiotic evolution, and who seems to be mastering both his symbolism and biotic or physical self.brbrOthers interpretations of that image or symbol may differ based on culture, religion, exposure to your readings. Some just see a man. Some may see your race. Some may assume things based on your wardrobe. The interpretation of your symbol, varies on each individuals understanding of symbols and what context or placement they have been given during the evolution of that persons psychobiotic self.brbrNow with such a varying or conflicting interpretation of even one man, think how much larger and more widespread the interpretation of something as grand as Peace may be. Especially when you factor in the widespectrum understanding of symbolism that will differentiate from country to country, culture to culture, neighborhood to neighborhood, household to household, and person to person. With such a massive variation of understanding, and in many cases unwillingness to understand others, it will make it incredibly difficult to find a universal Symbol of any sort for individuals to agree upon.brbrEven my own interpretation of Peace may change, as I change throughout my own evolution. With constant change and metamorphosis and alteration of self , both symbolic and biological to anchor oneself to any singular definition of things seems both alluring and impossible at the same time. Universal symbolism, cross cultural understanding, peace consciousness of a critical mass these are overwhelming, and currently only hypothetical situations to which man is only touching upon in understanding. Both the ramifications of, and how they will directly change or evolve man himself in his individual evolution.brbrI believe, man must first deconstruct symbolism. We must be aware of what everything represents, before we can hope to ever gain any universal understanding of each other. Only if all symbols equal the same thing, can all of man truly see each other with some degree of truth and ultimate awakening or understanding of each others psychobiotic self. Then perhaps, with understanding of each others symbols, and the finite timeline we all have biologically to work on our own attempt at symbolizing something truthful and aware, we MIGHT be able to work on constructing a general definition of Peace.brbrAnd have reason both individually, and collectively, to maintain it for the sake of each other, and the greater definition of what that symbol of PEACE might represent.

THE problem i have is that i think there is a creator and everyone says we were put here for a reason everyone has their purpose. but im thinking your a creator with all this power whats the point of creating us, whats our reason for our life in relation to the creator? does the creator need us for something or just created us to see what happened? whats your view?
i think tha it might be like the matrix, but then what would the people getting the energy from the people be living for? i think that god made us as an experiment, to see how we would turn out. have you ever wondered how the world would be if the god decided that planets and other things were cubes and not spheres?

Book first, then the movie. Although, I think sometimes you set yourself up for disappointment that way. A lot of times I envision scenes in the book differently, or they dont even make it into the movie, and theyre sometimes my favorite part!
Do you prefer The Harry Potter Books or The Twilight Saga Books? And Why?
I am personally torn between the two of them because they are both such good books. And they are both quite different. But I just wanted to know what do you think. Because I love them both.
I love both series. I own all the books in both PbrThe Harry Potter books seem to have a more developed plotline, with interesting characters and creative settings. J.K Rowling has managed to successfully create a mystical world that is described well throughout the books. The whole idea of magic has thrilled people since further back than medieval times, and to have it written in modern times just makes it all the more interesting. I really love the way that the plot actually goes somewhere if there is a battle, then it impacts the storyline, even if some important characters were lost in the process. There are actual consequences, repercussions, and they learn from their mistakes. However, the one problem I find is that it seems like she has a basic storyboard, or writing frame, and she uses it in every book but the last, filling in the gaps. Notice how there is always something that happens to Harry before he reaches Hogwarts at the start of the book, then there is a significant event that takes palce towards the beginning of his year at Hogwarts, then that contributes to a larger event, that is built up to throughout the book. Finally there is a battle, or some sort of challenge towards the end of his stay, then he goes home. Oh, and the fact that Harry seems to barely have a personality also greatly annoyed me.brbrTwilight on the other hand, is written in the normal world, but it reveals to the reader the possibility of vampires, and other supernatural creatures. The plot or story line for each of the books is unique, and different to the last just managing to sustain the readers attention until the end of the series. I liked vampire novels before reading Twilight, some of my favourites being written by Anne Rice, and Karen Chance. But I did notice, while reading some of the books by Karen Chance that Stephenie Meyer, at times, appears to have a very similar writing style I would assume that at some point Stephenie read those books. The cover font for one of K.Cs books quotMidnights Daughterquot was also used throughout the Twilight series as the cover font. My main problem with the Twilight series is that Stephenie Meyer over uses certain words like quotchagrinquot, and has a somewhat sloppy writing style. After reading, and rereading Twilight, and the other books for that matter, I begin to find Bella a rather obnoxious character, always complaining about how she isnt good enough, and how she doesnt deserve her time with Edward. I began feeling like shouting quotComplainings not going to help anything, why not just shut the fck up and enjoy your time with him.quot Another problem that I found with the Twilight saga was that, in my opinion, Stephenie did not live up to the expectations for the last book, Breaking Dawn she began making it all just TOO convenient. No fight at the end, because Alice amp Jasper just happen to be near the clearing at the time. No battle between Vamps and Weres because Jacob just happened to imprint. Alice amp Jasper just happen to locate probably the ONLY other half humanhalf vampire group. It just so happens that the half vampshalf humans will eventually stop aging, meaning they could be pretty much immortal, like their parents. I just found all of this a bit too convenient, like she felt there were so many loose ends that she needed to tie them all together and rush the ending. Also, notice that only minor characters died throughout the series, like Harry Clearwater, yet in HP there were some major characters who were killed e.g Dumbledore, Fred or George, I forget which Weasley, Sirius Black Granted, she did manage to clear up some of the questions, but she also implanted more questions in my mind. For example, when would the Volturi come back for another fight. brbrOver all, Im not sure which I prefer, because there are different aspects of both that appeal to me. The plot of the Harry Potter books seems more thought out and well written, keeping people interested in what is going to happen in the next book. On the other hand, I like the overall concept of the Twilight saga having liked vampire novels, it was nice to finally see someone who actually wrote about a family, or coven, of vampires who drank animal blood. It has been mentioned in books such as Interview with a Vampire, but none of the vampires who chose that path had particular success. brbrYeah, I got bored and began rambling. I should stop drinking so many caffienated beverages. I better get points for this gtP
